Rick Pollon started out boxing when he was living with his mom in Prince George at the women’s shelter and continued to box for 7 years. Later in life he started Judo as a way to stay healthy and look for ways to improve personal safety. Rick is currently a 4th degree Black Belt in Judo and has been actively doing Judo for 22 years including competing nationally in Kodokan Goshin jistu (Self defense against holds, striking, kicking with weapons and without). Rick has worked with many organizations whose demographics included people who are vulnerable and at risk of physical harm. With 4 years of bouncing experience as well as competing in Judo and Boxing, Rick is very experienced in how to protect oneself and others with a real-world approach of self defense.

Mikkie is a Certified Personal Trainer, a certified Holistic Nutritionist and an orange belt in Judo. She is a mother of 4, and knows the importance of raising her children to be loving, confident and strong individuals in mind and body. With different experiences throughout her own life and with others, she found a calling to help people develop their own self-confidence and awareness through personal training and nutrition.
