Rajesh Narine

Rajesh "Rags" Narine is a chef who loves to create! Rags is the creator of the recipes of Cartems Donuts, an iconic independant chain in Vancouver whose flavours are renowned for being innovative and tantalizing. Rags has a bevy of experience in the industry, and has made both savory and sweet concoctions to much fanfare. Learning from some of the best chefs in Vancouver, he has applied his knowledge to create food experiences for many, and is excited to create even more!

Mikkie Nettles is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and a mother of 4. She knows the importance of bringing nutritious healthy foods to the table that everyone enjoys. Informing you on what foods carry benefits to your health from foods and spices that carry pre & probiotics, enzymes, phytonutrients, are anti-inflammatory, metabolic boosters, have high antioxidant qualities to getting in enough fiber. Also explaining different dishes, in how to make sure you have a full protein (amino acid) profile, healthy fats and low glycemic carbohydrates. The importance of the balance in these important macronutrients and in what ratio’s. Understanding what can spike blood sugar levels, hypertension or what foods could cause blockage in your arteries.

Sharon Sun

Sharon is a student studying to become a Registered Dietitian (RD). She is deeply rooted in all things food and has experience with creating and delivering community cooking programs, providing nutrition workshops, creating tasty desserts at restaurants, and showcasing the love for food by crafting social content. Her holistic approach to health includes sharing the big of picture of nourishing nutrition while helping others develop their healthiest relationship with food possible. Integrated into these foundations is her advocacy for creating intentional change through self compassion, gratitude and purpose leading to kindness to ourselves, others and the environment. After all, food is the one of the universal languages of love.
