Build resilience and expand your psychological toolkit

2020 has been a challenging year in many ways. With ever-growing obstacles, restrictions, and extra time on our hands, many of us have felt the emotional pressure and psychological burnout. These new circumstances have brought opportunities to spend more time with ourselves. Posing its own set of benefits and challenges, our time of solitude is defined by how we choose to embrace it. For some people, COVID-19 has led to an increased sense of isolation, depression, and hopelessness. For others, it has provided the chance to learn new skills, embark on a journey of self-exploration, or simply learn how to slow down.

Our ever-changing circumstances may bring on a sense of overwhelm, like you have little control over your world. You may be left feeling anxious, frustrated, and disheartened. Or you may be looking for a way to cope through these difficult times. You might be searching for hope.  Fuel Life is excited to host a mental health workshop to facilitate dialogue and build solidarity. Join us for a conversation on managing the personal challenges many of us are facing. Discover your unique strengths and gifts. Leave feeling heard and supported by a community who cares about your wellbeing. You will gain additions to your toolbox for managing the uncertainties that lie ahead.

Admission is by donation. All proceeds go towards the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). CMHA is the most established, extensive community mental health organization in Canada. Through a presence in more than 330 communities across every province and one territory, CMHA provides advocacy, programs, and resources that help to prevent mental health problems and illnesses, support recovery and resilience, and enable all Canadians to flourish and thrive.
